Trucks on New Forrest Highway 

Recently I have been contacted by several truck drivers with concerns regarding the types of trucks permitted on the new Forrest Highway.

Main Roads has confirmed that when opened, the Forrest Highway will be a 'Network 4' permit truck route, allowing 27.5 metre B-doubles and other 27.5 metre combinations.

Changes will include the Kwinana Freeway south of Thomas road (not currently permitted) thus allowing full access from the Forrest Highway via Kwinana Freeway to the metropolitan freight network including Roe Highway.
