Phone Support for Women with Postnatal & Antenatal Depression

I am please that new funding will soon give women suffering from postnatal and antenatal depression or those who are grieving the loss of a baby access to more telephone-based counselling services.

The telephone support service will be provided through four organisations; Post and Antenatal Depression Australia (PANDA), SIDS and Kids Australia, Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Support (SANDS) and the Bonnie Babes Foundation.

Post and antenatal depression and grief from the loss of a baby are very serious. The new telephone services are expected to give approximately 180,000 women support and access to important information.
