Jobs for Australia

I wish to advise you of the Coalition's Jobs for Australia initiative.

Ensuring every Australian has the opportunity to work is the single most important objective of Government, and must be the top priority of economic management. The Coalition believes well paid, skilled, secure jobs depend on enterprise, along with low taxes and incentives that make it easy for businesses to invest in people.

Jobs for Australia is an initiative of the Coalition to make sure we leave no stone unturned in our efforts to protect jobs and create new opportunities for Australians.

I am planning to hold a Jobs for Australia forum soon so I can hear your ideas to maintain and create jobs in our local economy. I believe Australians are innovative with a 'can do' attitude. Especially in these difficult times, we must look for new ways to strengthen our economy.

In the meantime, I encourage you to have your say about the jobs crisis at www.jobsforaustralia.com. You can share your experiences and ideas through this online forum.

Malcolm Turnbull will also join me and many of my colleagues as they host similar forums around the country. The feedback we receive, as well as the ideas from the website, will build the Coalition's strong plan for the future.

Already we have received many worthwhile practical suggestions such as assisting cash flow by ensuring the government to pay their bills on time and business incentives such as accelerated depreciation deductions.
