Created in 1922, Forrest was named in honour of Sir John Forrest - the first Premier of Western Australia as well as a Federal Cabinet Minister. Located in the South West corner of the state, the Federal Division stretches from Yarloop to Augusta, including the major centres of Bunbury, Busselton, Margaret River and Collie. The area contains 9 Local Government Areas.
